In September, the company is launching its “Weave the World Together” fund-raising campaign, whereby 100 percent of the net proceeds from the sales of its Catwalk Braid flat in silver/rose gold and pewter/fuchsia will be given to charity. The shoes retail for $59.95.The collection was conceived by 17-year-old Leeron Carmi, daughter of company co-founders Rachel and Itamar Carmi, who was inspired to support those suffering from cancer. “We don’t say this often, but it’s time to take our shoes off and walk in those of others,” said Leeron. “We recognize the challenges people with cancer are facing on a daily basis and want to help them build stronger foundations to lead happier lives.”RELATED Comfortable Shoes for Expectant MomsTo kick off the campaign, the company is partnering with two cancer support groups: MyLifeLine.org and Sharsheret.org.
